Actually, US can ban whomever they want from the website for any reason they see fit. And no country in the world has absolute freedom of speech. You'll learn about it if you take ANY classes.

Im backing the people who think it's wrong justify it all you want. You are still wrong for making fun of those people. There is a difference between making fun of people who are disabled and joking about the disability, and like a lot of jokes and words the intent behind them is what makes it offensive or not IMO. A friend of mine worked in a group home an the stuff that come out of the mouths of the clients would make some keel over, but they all found it hilarious.

Jazzy I hear ya! Britney is one thing but what they said is another. What they don't understand is not only will they pay for what they said in the long run, it's called karma. But they will be reported because I was just on another blog where someone gave out the email address under terms of use for US weekly, and I'll be putting their names out there for them to look at. Hiding behind fakes names all you want, they have your email and can and should ban you. I'm done with this blog, it's pathetic and so are the people who stay in it.

I didn't play off of it. I genuinely think its a cheap shot to make fun of the handicapped. I think its just ignorant. I don't think I should have made the webbed toe comment RIGHT after that but oh well. I'm on your side. I wasn't saying it was Ok for my neighbor to make fun of handicapped because he is one and being handicapped is not a green light for it being OK to make fun of an entire group of people in our society.
