I just don't understand why everyone loves her album "In the Zone", and "Blackout". There's nothing special or unique about it. It's just trashy music, that's all. Its not anything like how her music used to be. She had a much more pretty voice back then, and it's like she doesn't have that at all anymore, or she doesn't want to. She was more innocent back then, now she's just slutty, and doesn't have any good music taste. I would be surprised if her next album has any good songs on it, because how she's changed over the years. Don't get me wrong I do feel bad for britney, and I've loved her ever since she came out, but I'm beiginning to not be a fan of her music anymore. And it's sad how she came about.

I'm glad she is getting her life together. I'm sure we don't know the whole story of why she gave K=Fed sole custody. I don't like that she did, but I'm sure she is thinking of her boys!! They have been with K-Fed for awhile and they might not need to jump straight to Brit. I really hope it's for the kids that she gave away sole custody. Now she can save money and not pay for Kevin to have an attorney. She can save money and rebuild for her boys!! I can't wait for her next album!!

No chance in Hell of this piece of sh8t doing well. Blackout got slaughtered by The Eagles. No one said that the 1970s rockers stood a chance against her and they not only did but slaughtered her. Their newest album sold a whooping 7 million copies (3.5 million double CD sets) compared to her lowly 870,000 copies. The skank did promote the disc with childish crap. She tried to boost sales for In the Zone with the quickie marriage to Jason Alexander and ticket sales for her 2004 tour were not as great as tours past. Her time is over. She was a well-marketed bubblegum act. Strange that her albums don't sell anymore whereas things she came out against continue to sell more now than they did then. Pink Floyd's Echoes 2-CD best of lost out to Britney's 2001 album but over time Echoes has sold more as Floyd gain new fans each year whilst Britney loses more. The Beatles' Let it Be...Naked lost to In the Zone in the US but The Beatles continue to sell well today whereas Britney's albums are all in the cheap bin now. Alicia Keys (who is actually talented) will likely shatter Britney's streak of first female to have first five albums to debut at #1. (Alicia's three studio albums and a live album all debuted at #1 tying Britney's first four). Britney's two best ofs and Blackout all BOMBED BIG TIME!

I think Britney has looked better lately, but she still seems "off". I wonder if she will ever return to her old self. She seems void of any personality, it's hard to even see a person behind the caricature. Her dad can only watch over her for so long. The true test will be if she can continue to improve when left to her own devices.

I loved Blackout. Great CD. I'm looking forward to her next album - especially if she'll actually promote it.

She has too many problems to raise kids. Poor little things...All that money and they don't have a normal mother.... This happens to a lot of the child stars....booze and drugs...at least that's what the Enquirer says!!!

Funny that you dont think a little promotion for her cd would not have helped sales. The cd had lots of positive reviews, moreso than negative reviews, Billboard had it in their top 50 albums of the year.

Blackout debuted at number two and sold 869,000 copies in the U.S. alone but what they dont mention is that Britney did no promotion for the cd at all, besides making two videos and a call two minute call to Ryan Seacrest. If she would have actively promoted Blackout it would have been huge, it is a great CD,

"Spears' last album, Blackout, debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200." What they don't mention is how quickly it fell off the charts! I predict the next album will not do well.

For the oblivious who don't seem to realize Britney has an actual disease and she's trying to get better, sorry I will buy her album. Even in the depths of a breakdown her album is better and more exciting than any of the other crappy pop out there. She defined a generation of music and deserves a little credit. She's been working hard since she was like nine -- and famous since she was fifteen. I don't think she should be allowed to have custody of her kids, but I still cut her some slack in the fact that she didn't ask for this disease. No one does.
