TexasContessa, you are forgetting that THE RIGHT TO ROCK is the expert on absolutely everything. They are very loud on their opinions, but god forbid if anyone argues with them on it-watch out. But how quickly they forget...how bout THE RIGHT TO SHUT UP??
Before you do more harm than good, please no more diatribes from folks who want to explain Christianity to the world on an usweekly blog, while labeling someone they're pretending to pray for as mentally ill. I'm a Christian, and you're making ME wince! Let's all walk the walk, instead of talking the talk. There's a huge difference!
THE RIGHT TO ROCK, sorry, you cannot define God. People are not God, and God gives us freewill. a lack of God in your life does lead to a darker character, fighting and all things ugly in this world. I will agree with you however that there are people in this world who call themselves christian and yet are just as cruel and cold as some-nonchristians, just as there are some nonchristians who behave as a christian should behave. however, those people, they are not true christians. what you have to worry about is your own self, not others, and you should never allow what other people do prevent you from whatever you do that's positive in your life. personally I believe britney's problem is psychological as well as never being told no, so she never grew up. for the most part though, I believe she has serious mental issues.
Praying for Britney, or anyone else, is great, but it feels a little self-serving getting media attention for doing things that should be done quietly, with a sincere heart. Furthermore, we ALL need prayer, including the 5,000 who have decided to pray for Britney. The last time I checked, my Bible said that ALL have sinned, including the folks who have targeted Britney as the soul most in need of their good graces. Perhaps they should consider praying for humility as well.
Actually, we should all be praying for the right to rock. Peace be with you dude.

you shouldn't make fun of people who pray or who are being prayed over. it may not mean much to you, but that does not mean that it's not effective. it may take time in some cases to see the effects of it, however, it DOES indeed work. it's sad to know there are some people who are so vehemently against faith in God that they feel it's their duty to belittle others who do believe. to me, those kinds of people, the ones who mock believers, they are weak-minded individuals with lower intelligence.
