Chris Crocker may be Britney Spears’ biggest fan but the feeling apparently isn’t mutual. Sources tells Usmagazine.com that the Tennessee native, who garnered instant fame after posting his “Leave Britney Alone!” plea on YouTube, has rubbed the pop princess the wrong way.
"Britney does not think Chris Crocker is funny,” a Spears pal tells Us. “She thinks he's creepy and that all his videos are an obvious attempt at fame. She finds it insulting and difficult to watch."
But Crocker defends his teary online tribute. “It was to give Britney fans a voice,” he tells Usmagazine.com. “There is nothing insulting there. It was for her fans to show our support.”
Crocker was in LA promoting Onch Movement jewelry when news broke that the 25-year-old singer had lost custody of her sons, Sean, 2, and Jayden, 1. But her number one fan is confident that the situation is only temporary.
“My mom lost custody of me when she was younger and she got it back,” says Crocker. “She can always get it together again.”
So it's just a bad time for her right now?
"She's not herself right now," he said. "It's a transitional time in her life. She's got time to change and she will."

and who the hell cares if britany cut her hair? alot of famous people shave their heads. maybe she wanted a change. maybe she didnt like the way she was. and can you blame it on her? she was sucked into a world of fame when she was 16. is it her fault that everyone loves her? maybe, maybe not. is that even her? most likily its the people on the other end of the contract deciding what she does, where she does it, how she does it, who is there to see it, and what is and what not is made avaliable to the public. and if you see footage of her singing before she even became famous then you would know she really DOES have talent. unlike alot of other pop stars. she did drugs. who cares? i did them too. she lost a custody battle. introduce me to someone who is divorced and hasnt, or hasnt had a custody battle peroid. she was just as "infamous" before she lost. shes in her late 20's. shes trying to figure out her life, with the entire world watching her, waiting for her to fall off of that balance beem. thats alot of pressure if you ask me. so a couple of mistakes, binges, and possibly even being mentally unstable is no supprise.

I agree with Britney, CC is creepy. And obviously just trying to have his 15m of fame. But you can bet that in 10 yrs they will show his clip on VHI remember the 00's for like 5 seconds to laugh about it. Like parachute pants, the hot pink phase, NKOTB, big bangs, and the running man! As for britney, I am not a fan but I always hoped that she would pull it together for her kids. If you look at her as someone that may have grown up next door to you, you feel kinda bad and at the same time, you don't. I think a lot of people don't know what to think. But there were many people, that I knew personally who were honestly hoping to see an amazing comeback on the VMA's and instead we were all very dissappointed. She looked like she was on drugs. And it let a lot of people down. So even the fans of britney, at this point, have a right to be genuinely pissed off at her right now. Because she was given opportunities to fix her life, and she blew it. I think she is indulging in her own self pity and loathing and it's aweful! She needs a big dose of reality. The same dose the rest of the world would get in her shoes. A little jail time, a CSD/SCF case and court ordered rehab. And not to mention some serious psychotherapy. And then maybe she will wake up and realize that money doesn't buy you an excuse to screw up and keep on screwing up! And no, her problems are not bigger because she's famous. Your gonna get similar stories from everywhere and from everyone. Life is hard, but when you look at your kids and your friends and family, and you remember the good times, you realize, it's worth it. And giving in to your own self pity that's the easy way out! And it's BS!

It is guys like this making web casts like his that show the naive and ignorant one sided views of a community. I pray to God that Britney Spears keeps her distance from this guy before her fame in all of her idols eyes are ruined. Britney is a grown woman that can take care of herself. She doesn't need something like this looming over her shoulders. What Chris Crocker doesn't understand is his fifteen minutes of fame that will more than likely end any month now is doing more harm to this scarlet than it is helping. Every time he says Britney's name there are hundreds of reporters and photographers that question Britney. It is this type of action that puts Britney in a tough spot. It is this type of action that makes it harder for Britney to keep focus to get her children back. Best of luck Britney. And To Chris Crocker, when your fame runs out, and I am sure it will I want you to know that it isn't because you weren't noticed...it was because you were noticed in the worst way possible. Bad publicity will never be remembered as long as good publicity. If you want to make an impact in this world before God takes you under his wing then quit concerning yourself in media matters and become an activist where real work is to be done. You don't see people like Bill Gate's wife or even John Elton screaming "Leave Britney Alone", you see them fighting for a cause. A cause that goes past one persons plea to be heard and to a new level of acceptance. Thank You.

I have nothing to say about Chris Crocker's actions towards the Britney Spears scandal. On the other hand I have just recently watched a few videos that I found on a friends myspace. I am glad that he is promoting his sexuality openly but I believe there is a fine line that Chris is crossing. In my own opinion he has given the gay community a sense of hope and understanding where there is none to be found. On the other hand he is making the majority of the community out to be flaming sissies. And just in case Chris gets the chance to read this then I want him to know that I said the word flame. It's not derogatory in any way. It is a complete contradiction to derogative. The word flame expresses ones characteristic. Chris Crocker has obviously forgot what characteristic is seeing as he cannot determine the similarities between calling himself a flame and a queen. Chris has shamed me and many others like me. I am open with my sexuality to all and any people. I have no fears with who I am. Albeit Chris has filled me with disappointment and detrimental confusion. It is sad to say that I can't defend him in any conversation his name is brought up in. Not BECAUSE he is a queen but because it is his tyrannical behavior that reminds me of why kids are bullied at school. It is this one sided train of thought that I am scared to defend my community when he has solely defaced it in not only the communities eyes but also the heterosexual community
