Britney & K-Fed's Former Love Nest Getting No Love

Despite being on the market since last November, the 9,000-square-foot mansion where Britney Spears and Kevin Federline spent most of their marriage has not yet found a buyer.

Usmagazine.com has learned that the gated estate, which was first listed at
$13.5 million but has since been downgraded to just under $12 million, has, according to a source, received a few "low-ball offers." But the hilltop home remains empty and unsold.

So why hasn’t the former couple, who reportedly will split profits from a sale, been able to unload the storied mansion?

One person who toured the home but declined comment was Tennis Channel founder Steve Bellamy. Sources tell Us the L.A.-based television mogul who now runs The Ski Channel recently viewed the home but lost interest when he learned they had removed the tennis court to make room for a lavish poolside bar customized for K-Fed.

Although the property's listing agent declined comment to Us, a Malibu real estate source says the house, which underwent extensive renovations, is over-priced and over-customized to Spears' and Federline's quirky tastes. "There's literally a bar everywhere you turn," says the source. "It's too over the top."

a bar every time you turn around? seriously? are people really THAT lazy that they can't walk to another room to get their drink? or are they that sloshed that they just can't walk, and so they have to crawl and prefer not crawling so far? either way, that's really sad...but on the other hand, we're not talking a home that just anyone can buy. if they like the bones of a house, and they have the money to invest in that home, surely they can take the time to do renovations to their liking. seems to me there's got to be something more that's not being said. just a thought...
