You’ve been asking for more, and now Britney Spears is going to give it to you.
Jive Records has decided to move up the release date of Spears’ new album, Blackout, from November 13 to October 30.
The reason for the early release? The label wants to put a stop to the unauthorized leaking of Spears’ songs onto the internet. Since the album’s inception, songs and unfinished material and demos have made their way onto blogs and various music sites where they are easily downloaded.
A Jive spokesperson said in a statement: “Due to these numerous unauthorized online leaks, the label is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs including moving up the release date of the album to October 30.”

My take is Pink Floyd are SUPERIOR TO TWITNEY! TWITNEY is a falling star whose name is still getting notice because of her childish behavior. To Twitney Lives, just because an artist sells records DOESN'T MEAN SQUAT! Twitney only sold records as men wanted to "get off" (as Prince said it best) on her album sleeves and pre-teen girls wanted to be the wh*re. Twitney's album sales have been in decline ALBUM AFTER ALBUM! From 14 million of her debut to just BARELY close to 3 million on her last studio record to barely halfway past Platinum on her best of shows the woman, "WORE OUT HER WELCOME". The Sex Pistols' lone album was a FLOP upon its US release but its influence on rock and roll in general CAN'T BE MATCHED! Pink Floyd didn't need MTV nor videos to sell records, they had a following via word of mouth that boosted PF's sales. Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell sold because of the music. Also, David Gilmour and Roger Waters could write more songs in two seconds than the talentless wh*re EVER COULD!

Hey Jacob's Ladder, Britney is releasing the album earlier because her a*8 would have been kicked in by Celine Dion and Alicia Keys combined as they have new albums out November 13 plus a Led Zeppelin Best Of is out that day too and Britney is afraid of LOSING! The woman doctored with the tests and it can be doctored by the right people and so forth. The girl is a mentally unhinged sociopath who has to rip off old Madonna moves in a tacky way except Madonna was an originator and settled down once she became a mom whilst Britney cares about herself and herself only. Let's also hope The Eagles' new album destroys her in sales as Wal-Mart is the top music retail chain in the US and their album will be sold there for its first year of release.

for everyone who thinks that britney is just doing this for her album to sell better is a bunch of crap. britney is passing her drug tests and regaining herself and her popularity back and wanting to regain the respect back from people is not as important than her regaining 50/50 custody of her kids back. the reason she is doing this is so she stays sober and to get her kids back. thats all she cares about. she doesn't give a rats behind if her cd sells good which it will but she cares about having her kids returned to her and keeping them in her life. britney's kids are her #1 priority and for people who think that she doesnt care about her kids and that shes abusive and all this other false tabloid crap about her is all false. she is not abusive to her kids. do people ever look at kevin federline no their always looking at britney because she is the bigger star and thats all they care about is getting to britney when really the bad parent is kevin. you never see anything now about his partying ways and drinking and even a tabloid magazine had a remark from federline i smoke weed but not around my kids. isnt that proof enough for people that federline isn't a good parent saying when their not around that he would do it then. thats not being a good parent thats just acting like one. britney is actually making an effort to try and regain herself and her kids. people just back off of her she has had enough stuff in her life to make her fall out and return to bad ways. she continues this stuff because people like the attention she gives them and the reactions that britney has. its all is their trying to do is make her snap. just give her space and let her live her life without all the crap from people and tabloids. she has enough with whats going on now.

Betwen this so-called family reunion with Mama Spears and Jamie Lynn, the passing of the drug tests, to the emergency filing to get her boys back, not to mention no more late nights out in the clubs. What a crock! She's cleaning up her act so her album can halfway sell. My bet, once the album is out of the way and the #s come in to satuisfy her label, she'll be right back to her old ways.

Do you realize that Britney has sold 3x more albums than Alicia keys? and do you realize that Gimme More is the best-selling song in the U.S. right now. and do you realize that Britney Spears is the 8th best-selling female artist of ALL TIME and that all 4 of her studio albums have debut at #1 back to back to back to back? so before you start your dumb bleep "i know it all" crap realize that no female in the last 10 years has sold as many albums as her (let alone for Shania Twain who btw would obviously outsell Britney with her greatest hits set because she has been around for nearly 17 years and Britney's greatest hits came out after only 5 years in the industry.) My money is on Keys to outsell Dion as Celine is so 1997/1998 and her last record sold less than one before it whereas Alicia's first three albums ALL debuted at #1 (her two studio albums in 2001 and 2003 respectively and a LIVE UNPLUGGED album (sales were lower than a studio release but well enough for her third #1 album in a row) which made it the highest selling MTV Unplugged album since Nirvana's 1994 Unplugged album). I work at a record store. Even check Amazon.com you stupid sheep, Celine and Alicia both have albums out that day. Look what happened in 2004 when Twitney released her greatest hits against Shania Twain and Toby Keith's best ofs, they both outsold Twitney and then Eminem's Encore outsold all three in FOUR DAYS whereas Shania and Toby would have outsold Twitney anyhow. Why don't you just shut the f8ck up and accept that Twitney is DEAD!

The real reason her release date was moved up was that Jive fears that Alicia Keys would have outsold Britney's album by a LONGSHOT on November 13 (Alicia Keys will likely tie Britney's first four albums to debut at #1 streak and we hope she breaks it at some point as Alicia can sing, WRITE AND PERFORM HER OWN MUSIC, produce and is CLASSICALLY TRAINED on the piano and is TALENTED as much as she is not a rock and roller but we give her props for being her own person unlike Britney who is a ROBOT). Britney still faces a threat from The Eagles whom are releasing their long awaited new studio album that day and only at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club (where a good chunk of SoundScan's sales are done). If the new Eagles album hits #1, then Britney's fans will now have to accept her time is OVER!
