sure she's drugfree now but what happens later when she has her boys back and the courts are off her ^ss, can she be trusted?i am not banking on it.

Britney is a fame-whoring wreck of a mother. Did anyone notice that she didn't show up for her first drug test? Now she should be applauded for her efforts? She pimps those kids out, bottom line. She's damn good at that, huh?

I have to say I disagree with the statement that talking about her issues means you don't care for/about the children. Most discussion about her is spurred by concern for the children. Her behavior would not have garnered such a negative reaction if she did not have children.

Also, by discussing Britney, or any addict and addiction itself, it is creating a forum that might help some people learn about addiction. It might also help strip a little of the stigma away from addiction. That stigma makes it harder for many to get and ask for treatment.

Any discussions here should have no bearing on the children's lives.

Finally, people who do not speak up about the behavior and it's effects on the children (should they be in a place to say so) are condoning such behavior. If Kevin had not spoken up those boys might still be with her, and obviously that is not the best place for either the boys of Britney right now.

Skippi this is 8:42...you are right on it...Rehab should not be cushy..I went to a little treatment center in Pascagoula, Mississippi...we had no luxuries.. We woke up at 5am and cleaned toilets and made beds and then went to group sessions...luxuries dont work for drunks and drugies.We need harsh conditions. It worked for me...

Also to those that think people like me should not be proud of having a disease that involves stubance abuse...I am LIVING LARGE on sobriety and am VERY proud and grateful that God made me exactly how he made me...first a drunk and then a sober drunk...I would not be me if alcoholism was not a part of my make up...I survived it and for that I am sooooo very proud..One day hopefully Brit can say the same

I am a young mother that is a recovering alcoholic and to have to go thru this in the public eye has to be horrible....if all of my relaps were plastered all over the t.v and internet I never would have gotten any relief. I feel sorry for her and to all of you who are perfect and never had to deal with addiction just be thankful that you are infact perfect....(so you think.) She has a disease just like me and it doesnt matter if you want it or not...it doesnt matter if your a good mom or not..you dont choose it....it chooses you. So get over it morally fit folks...this is real and hopefully if you are lucky you or none of you loved ones(ie. your child perhaps) will never have this..and back off the ones of us that are told daily that we are social and mental defects...when i was a little girl....and Brit too I am sure...I never once said that when I grew up I wanted to be a drunk and drink til my liver was swollen and I lose my child.....how bout we leave her alone so she can go thru this and get well for her boys....because their the ones that we should be trying to protect...you can't have an opinion about her parenting when you are doing everything you can to keep their mommy on the t.v at her worst moments. Everytime you discuss "Britney's drug and alcohol problem" and "How could a mother do this?" you are hurting the boys..so in reality you don't care for children either....

Wow! She passed a drug test. Hooray....Well, she should not have been doing the drugs in the first place. I would be proud of her if she PRETENDED to be a good mother and a role model for the youth of America. She is not even trying to be a f-ck up and she still is...

britney is a sociapath not a drug addict. she has no morals, values, or conscience. she doesn't care about her children, family what little friends she has left, fans, or anyone in the wider world. it's all about her, the world revolves around her and no one else. watch her hit the woman's car, she could care a less what she does to it. she doesn't even look, with tons of paps there to film her. her world revovles around brit and everyone else can just f off.. she stole a man from a pregnant woman. she only had kids to keep up with shar, and now shar is raising those kids. oh the karma of it all.

I agree 2:04. I think that the lack of intensive, residential therapy and treatment proves that. You don't snap out of a tailspin in a week.

If you do, you didn't have a problem. In that case all the destructive and risky behaviors were made with full knowledge of what she was doing, and that is just inexcusable considering the possible damage to her children and the upsetting of their lives, as well as her family.

I think this is all an act. The minute her custody is restored she'll be back to her old self destructive ways. She's just doing it to look good in front of the cameras.

Not to worry, though - according to an X17 source, Britney's already rescheduled:
they were taken to the wrong house. so instead of making them drive all the way back, we rescheduled them to tomorrow morning." BY THE WAY... She has seen her children many times since then. So Get over it!! Her children love her, she loves them! You're not going to change that!
