Britney's decision to go on with the VMA show after discovering that the producers would not let her do a complicated illusionist number was a mistake. She should have walked -- but then the newspapers would have run a billion "Britney Bails! Loses Sanity! Should Be Killed!" headlines.

I got a kick out of it. It was jarring, it was weird, and it was unnerving. And she was the only human being on that stage during the entire show, with one or two exceptions. In a glossy fake world of soon-to-be has-been's, she was the only star that matters. Newspaper and media people don't realize it, but Britney has bypassed media control long ago and has an army of fanatical supporters who don't care if some unknown at the New York Times or Extra Exclamation Mark disapproves of her.

Made her own fashion decision, eh? It sure looks like it! Awful! If she had just left SOMETHING to the imagination, it would have been all right.

The hair? I think it's curious that the girl SHAVES HER HEAD supposedly because her weave was too tight, but yet comes on this award show WITH ANOTHER WEAVE....

You can take the girl out of the country, but you cannot, under ANY circumstances; take the "country" out of the girl.

While we may not know all of the "facts", some things remain unclear. Why didn't she have Ken Pavés do her hair before the show (in advance) to get a better idea of what exactly he had in mind for her hair.

Was it because she was more concerned with "partying and hanging out" ... as opposed to being totally commited to making her comback performance a hit!

While she didn't have an obligation to use him, she did hire him to do a job. If his style's are soo "last year" as many have put it she could have used someone else ... the fact remains she wasn't paying attention to details and made snap decisions that didn't work in her favor.

It sounds as though she may be having trust issues.

Ken Paves is a stylistic genius. She should have been more adult and treated him like the professional he is. With dignity and respect. Rather then acting like the little spoiled girls on those sweet 16 shows. Things must have gotten ugly in there. She can't sing, dance, or even dress herself. I wanna know what was goin on with her nails. They were as bad as her hair.

Yikes, Kim, did you see the same head the entire rest of the world did? It looked horrendous! Her hair has looked like sh*t for months because she flat-out refuses to lay off the extensions. She needs to LEAVE HER HAIR ALONE for awhile. Let it breathe, let it grow. (I will give her props for the makeup though. That I did like.)

Britney should not be embarrassed about her body. She looks great for having had two kids 2 and under. The problem is that her body is not as good as she thinks it is and she should not be dressing the way she does. There are many many MANY other flattering and attractive options for her and she continues to choose clothing that is too tight and unflattering for her body. For that, she is to blame. If I were in the public spotlight every single day and I marched around with no clothes on, I would expect people to scrutinize me as they do her. If she DIDN'T want people to notice her body, she would dress accordingly. She is begging the world to judge her. For that, I say you get what you get.

Britney Spears is NOT fat... She's had two children for crying out loud! I WISH I could look that good after having two kids. The image of Hollywood is sickening, and for people to call Britney fat is sickening as well.

Doesn't she do a rehersal hair do like everyone else? Like you do before Prom or your wedding?

I saw the funniest thing on CNN last night. They made a CNN reporter go on the street and ask normal people, (most of whom were TWO times the size of Britney, what they thought of how she looked on the award show,about her weight in particular. AND DO YOU KNOW these OVERWEIGHT a*******, both women, AND balding men, had the nerve to be sayings that she looked fat. It was so hilarious to see these clueless people talking about Britney being fat, when they themselves were TWO TIMES her size. It just goes to show that MOST people are just simply spiteful, jealous individuals, who are clueless as to their own flaws.

Like her or not, Britney was the show. Britney brought in the good ratings.

I think she'll get it together eventually. I couldn't care less either way, but if she really does want to make a comeback, she can do it.
