I think it is sad when people bash her. Can everyone not see she is going through a hard time, it happens to lots of people hers just happens to be in the spotlight. She is not selfish she is sick and she is getting help for it. For goodness sakes she is human, shes been hurt in love and who knows what else is going on with her life. Apparently it appears that Anna and Howard had already invited E! into their private lives for a program. They also had developed a friendship with the reporter. Was Howard just supposed to tell E! to go away and that they are no longer friends since Anna's unexpected death??? I heard Ron Rale and Krista Barth, Howard's attorneys, stand up to Ashley Banfield on Best Defense (court TV) who was stating that the "public's opinion" was that if Howard would just take a paternity test, we wouldn't be going through all this. Ron told her than he had received hundreds of letters from people who also agreed that a paternity test had nothing to do with laying someone to rest and had absolutely nothing to due with Virgie's mission to receive a portion of the fortune. I totally agree and was glad that Ron corrected Ashley on the "public's opinion." So in the future, I hope the commentators don't "stereotype" all of us. Good Luck Howard. It's really sad that it took Anna Nicole's death for everybody to suddenly be wanting to provide "help" for her and Daniel. Virgie has become accustomed to a taste of Anna's lifestyle... the limos, the spotlight, the trips to Bahamas, etc. I think she is liking it and is fighting to obtain her chunk of Anna's fortune. She admitted in court her house was only valued at 60K or so. Of course we'd all like to live like millionares. She is taking full advantage of her attorney's wishes to have their careers as big as Mark Garagus or Gloria Allred and become famous.

Howard never tried to better his career by using his name to take Anna Nicole all the way to the supreme court. He accepted her faults and stood by her through every scandal. He has been the one constant (other than Daniel) in Anna's life. If it weren't for Howard, Anna Nicole would have not achieved the FAME and fortune she had. He was an absolute GREAT manager and had a friendship with her that withstood the test of time. Obviously that lead into a stronger relationship. If his interest were only that of money, he could have had all of the toys and money of Anna's he wanted, since he was her manager and did care for her finances.

Larry's comments on the emails to Anna Nicole that were read in court were absolutely repulsive. For him to disassociate Daniel to Anna the way he did, only days after her son's death, was vial. If you don't know... he stated to her that he couldn't believe that she was going to bury "the kid" over there in the Bahamas. Daniel wasn't just "the kid"... he was her son and to say that to a "true mother" is unbearable. Is it any wonder why she didn't want him as an influence in her daughter's life. And to top it all off, within weeks of Daniel's death, Larry's attorney, Debra Opri, was threatening to take her daughter away. Why is it that at the time Larry was "trying to make a baby with her," that it didn't matter to him that he was sleeping with someone who was allegedly abusing drugs. Yet, as soon as there is a baby born, it is suddenly a fault of her's he can't accept. Debra Opri is dirty and acts like a BULLY. In the end, I believe we will all come to see that her bark is bigger than her bite. As I heard a commentator state on TV, when someone goes to the extremes that she has, it's usually because they are desperate and haven't been able to achieve the results they desire in any other logical way.

As for Daniel's biological father, give me a break... He obviously has had an attorney come to him that wants to also throw their name in hoping for FAME and notariety. It would be a complete injustice to Anna if he exumed Daniel who he's had no contact with in life and now states he'd visit his son's grave. ??? What's wrong with the picture here??? Another dirty Virgie tactic to benefit herself. To hopefully have Anna's body reburied in Texas and collect part of Anna's fortune by using the excuse that she can't visit her daughter's grave without a passport. Truth be known, if Anna had been buried in Texas, a few years from now, she wouldn't even be visiting (unless it was simply to thank Anna Nicole for her new lifestyle).

Hang in there Howard. I believe that God and Anna are watching over you and that things will definately work out for you. I can't imagine any one else being more suitable to be Dannielynn's father. Protect her as you did Anna Nicole.

Jeez, it bugs me when the media gets things wrong! It says above that Anna Nicole was found unconscious "on the floor" which is incorrect because she was in her bed when the nurse discovered that she was unresponsive and not breathing.

My heart is with Howard.
My feeling is that Anna indeed chose him over these other people and that she must have had her reasons.
She seemed to be very hostile toward Birkhead and I choose to think that she had valid reasons for that....especially when people say of her that she was a person who was very giving to others, very friendly and unjudgemental. She must have felt disappointment, betrayal or heartbreak in her relationship with Larry, causing the split and rift between them, but Howard was always, always there for her....willing to "sit on the back burner" as long as she was happy.
God bless them both.
(And not to overlook Larry, I do thank him for being a gentleman over the last 2 weeks or so, thus respecting Anna Nicole.)

To all I say it is sad, the greatest sadness is not knowing what effects this will have on Dannielyn. Growing up in Hollywood or the splashes of Hollywood is not going to make this better for Dannielyn. In order for her to have a normal life , she would have to be raised obscure, from the public. Did you notice that Anna's father styed away from the spotlight , not taking advantage as Vergie did. Maybe this is proof that something is true.
For Anna to place emphasis on Howard and his part in her estate shows trust something she apparently did not feel with anyone else. All these other people that keeps coming on saying there were long time friends, was not close to her for the last several years and Howard no matter how they try to say controlled it did not keep them away. He was with her but not all the time , she could have called them when she was by herself. I have nothing against Larry if this is proven to be his child. Can he be obscure, hard to say. Chasing and taking photogs of celebrity is his way of earning. Is he ready to give that up and he is willing to give up Hollywood because of all that is going on paparazzi's will not leave Dannielyn alone.
Everything circulating around Howard for the most part are speculations , nothing is proven fact. He is guilty of loving her and wanting to protect her and Dannielyn . She was not the only one accused of abusing prescription and non-prescription drugs, majority of Hollywood is doing it. There use is just hidden right now. Leave the woman alone people ,she persevered through things most of us would not have survived a day from. Pray for her daughter who has to weave through this craziness and try to come out on top. Despite what is said Anna did make her choices , Daniel too, no one knows what a person is going through behind close doors. His mother went through a lot and he had to cope along with all that because he is her son. If he overdose accidentally it is not Howard's fault. She said she hated her mother, so he was simply doing what Anna Nicole wanted. He was her protector. If he had wanted the money, they would have gotten legally married to make him the beneficiary.
