Oh and 2:18 Anonymous. People DID try to help her. They tried and tried. She refused to accept it. She's an adult. no one is going to put their lives on hold to carry her to places of recovery if she doesn't want to go.

She's not a kid anymore. They offered help, they tried to force help. She had no interest. When you're an adult, the help is available but it isn't forced on you. No one is there to hold your hand. You're old enough to make your own choices and if they're bad ones, you reap the consequences. Simple as that.

Britney does not look like a fat pig! i think she looks great after 2 kids!! I also think she did not give her best work but i loved the song. I just think the tabloids should stop picking in her.

i couldn't blame you people for giving such harsh comments to the lady, because i know what you say are facts! i always loved BRITNEY and i will forever! whatever happened to her is usually normal, we commit mistakes in any point in our life, in her case its just different for there are many eyes watching her and couldn't wait to judge or critic the wrong things she is about to do! all i want to say is that look at yourself first (the dirt on your face, the wrong things you have done) before you judge her on any person at all!!

i really feel bad for her, and right now i just wished that she could take all of the things going on, the criticisms and all! i know that one day she would get past all through this!

Be gentle on Brit, she has suffered a lot by wrong decisions in her life, but if you really are concerned with her plight, do understand her. Her actions are just manifestations of how devastated she is right now and to deviate from the the pains and embarassments she has as a consequence of pre and post K-fed blunder, she tries to do more stupid things to cover-up.

Lets just hope and pray that she'll endure and weather this storm with flying colors. Brit be strong discerning..for your kids, your fans and your family

Oh Britney...I was SO DISSAPOINTED in that performance! I used to love Britney, not because of her singing (because we all know she could never sing), but for her dance skills and her amazing ability to entertain a crowd...and she lost all of that with this performance....it was sad, really...she looked like a dear in headlights, so lost and so nervous....and on top of that, SHE DID LOOK FAT!! I mean, for an average person she looked fine..I hope I look like that after two kids...but she's not an average person, she's BRITNEY SPEARS! She gets paid to look good, she can afford personal trainers, she can afford personal cooks, nutritionists, the whole nine...so for her to step on stage looking that heavy is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Britney you really let me down....I hope britney can realize she's not ready to perform just yet, and take time to take care of herself first, both mentally and physically...

You can tell that Britney clearly is upset or something. I don't think she's fat at all...she probably weighs like 120? 130? big freaking deal...looks like a size 4 or 6..so what? It's really sad that people are going to say that she's fat! And I think that maybe the world needs to stop bashing her before she does something to herself...who knows. People have issues..leave her alone. She did fine. You don't know what's going on with her life..leave the poor girl alone..

This was not Brits best performance, but it was not horrible as people are saying. As for the VMA's, Britney did not ruin it. The whole show was boring. Britney is not fat, she might not be as thin as she was, but she is definately not fat. I did not see any dimples/fat on her anywhere. She looks like maybe she is 10 pounds heavier than she was in the past. So what is that? I have seen women gain 100 or more pounds after 2 kids. She looked great!

it's so obvious britney doesn't know what she's doing. i guess she is doing a lot of drugs or booze or both. she's been in the business too long to now know how cut throat it is, how perfect she needed to be. she has to know that it takes a LOT of people to make a super star function. she has to know she needs an agent, manager, sylist, hair stylist, choreographer, the list is endless. so when she dismisses everyone and choses to party over rehersing, takes some mind altering substance and then gets on stage in front of not only millions of her fans/customers, but also an audience of her PEERS she has to know that she's a joke right? if not then she's a real fuktard. i think she may suffer from elvis syndrome, whereby she is too famous and too rich so no one tells her NO. either that or she makes more headlines and money for all around her when she's cracking up, so they just let her. maybe there's more CASH MONEY in britney as a trainwreck no motherin' bleep than britney the bonafied entertainer???

I think Britney looked good. Her face was pretty. Her body was fine ,the outfit wasn't. I work in industry where you being paid to be skinny ( and hungry) but Britney body looked healthy ( c'mon ,she has 2 kids!).I'd never liked her or her music ( when everybody was just loving her) but now I find cruel and nusty the negative comments about her. I'm more concern about her children than her shoes.I think she has strong fan base ,she is talented (not vocaly )and if only she recognize her problem (substence abuse) she will be just fine. She always was a great dancer and her moves on the dancing floor should rise the red flag not 2 extra pounds!
P.S. For everybody who would like to correct my English. Go ahead . I learn English (I'm foreigner)for the past 3 years and still write badly.........

This is how I see it. The show its self was a hot mess. Sarah was way out of line calling her kids a mistake. Her magic act was pulled out at the last min as well as her hair stylist. She didn't sing because MTV wouldn't let her. As far as her being fat. Are you kidding me? She looked amazing. It is funny how women in the music industry are made fun of for being to thin or fat, but the guys nothing. The lead singer of Fall out boy got fatter, robin thicke looks like he got some wait on him as well. No one says anything about that. I do agree it wasn't her best, but when you know some one is going to dis your kids and a network messed up your performence, you would be doing a bad job on stage. One other thing Rihanna and Eve, who are you to make fun of her? Do they have the sales that Brit has? Where are your hits at? Piddy, comman, and 50 cent looked bored? I feel sorry for her. I mean, yeah the performance was humiliatingly terrible, but it must be awful what emotional stages she's going through right now.
