now i got the fur thing settled well done on taking ur dads advice and spending time with him. even though he has had his problems he turned out ok and so will you you're a beautiful talented young woman and a great mother. i hope one day you'll be able to look back at this and you'll be in a much better place mentally. please don't give up. your family and friends (and fans) need you. the papparazzi will get bored soon just hang in there and try not to do anything else that will cause trouble for your physical or mental health

you people are crazy if you think this girl is truly sufferring from some acute mental illness.....brittany spears is a drug addict and probably an alchoholic......She shows all the signs of a drug abuser.....It is more than obvious her addition has taken control of her life, she was a poor example of a mother long before this " discovery of bi-polarism" ....this is an attempt to soften the blow of this young womans fall from grace.....i am not buying it for one second.....there are alot of people who still can hold on to their kids and a piece of sanity and have mental issues (its called seeking help) but she has been in a battle over the kids long before this "illness" there obviously was something there that would prompt such an nvetigation and ultimatly allow the father to gain possesion of his children...you people have to remember usually taking away children from thier mother is a LAST RESORT.....now all of a sudden she is metally retarded or something......don't believe everything you read

This blog is insane. Why is everone arguing over celebrities that you dont even know? Im sure as smart people you are you know that alot of these stories are fabricated to give people like you and me something to do. Although i enjoy them alot[the stories], Unlike most of you guys i know the diffrence of whats real and whats fake. You do as you please. As I will. Just wondering why people get caught up in this mess. Imagine if you were followed everyday, photographed, harrassed, and everytime you got your heart broken they slung it on tv and on paper and called it "entertainment"? Dont know just giving you something to think about. Sometimes these blogs are actually read by these stars, so if you cant say nothing nice then dont say nothing at all. Didn't your moms teach you all that?????

10:25 if your question about her cleanliness is sincere then I take it you don't know much about mental illness and how it can manifest itself. I don't say this as though you should, I just know that a lot of people don't. Like other illnesses, unless it's touched you, you may not know. Anyway, one thing found in a lot of people with mental illness is poor hygiene. If we're talking depression, think of yourself at your laziest, sickest, crappiest day and then multiply that. I know of people who were simply depressed who literally did not brush their hair for a month. And in some other cases it's not that they can't get the energy to do so, it's that there are too many other things to do, or too many other things to think about before getting to that point. Which is not to say that an ill person does not bathe or cannot bathe regularly, just to give an idea. One thing providers look for in patients is their hygiene. If a person who regularly takes pride in their appearance when stable suddenly looks a mess, it can be a flag.

I think once you see her really start to make improvements you'll see her look better. I never thought she had the best taste before :) but she never really looked dirty.

Hold the phone. Heidi Klum is pretty powerful but The Good German clearly doesn't understand the nature of mental illness and she's part of the problem if she shouts from the top of her Monolos that a little exposure to Heidi&Seal' Family Fun and Discipline is all that's needed to fix Miss Mess.

I hope this story is some whack US perversion of her statement because there's already so much misunderstanding on here of what Spears is up against, that for a role model as revered as Heidi Klum to even suggest that she can straighten out Britney's mentally illness is very, very irresponsible.
