Forget FAO Schwarz.

Britney Spears squeezed in a last minute holiday shopping spree at a West Hollywood Rite Aid on Friday.

Heading straight to the Christmas aisle, "she grabbed a cart and just started loading it up with stuff," an eyewitness told Usmagazine.com of the pop singer, 26, who was with her new assistant.

What did she score?

A $29.99 giant stuffed horse, a sweatshirt, Christmas candy, a football and a box of Lucky Charms, as well as some other smaller toys. She loaded the goods into her car herself.

Spears, Us’ Worst Dressed Celeb of the Year, must've worked up an appetite.

Around 1:15 a.m., she hit Miyagi's Japanese restaurant in West Hollywood, where she sat in the main bar area on the first floor to place her order.

Miyagi's manager Gator Lee told Us: "The kitchen was closed so I informed her we could make her sushi. She asked for chicken and shrimp tempura.

"She asked me if I could get her lighter for her from her car, which I did," Lee said. "When I got back, I offered to move her to a private room, but she didn't want to move. She said, 'I'm fine.'"

Bored while waiting, Spears wandered up to the third floor of the restaurant. "Everyone at the bar turned around and stared at her, but she didn't seem to mind," Lee said. "She smiled and seemed happy."

Spears (who only drank water) took a few bites of her meal before having it wrapped up.

"She was real chill and just sat in the corner," her server told Us of the singer, who had a meltdown this year. "I told her right before she was leaving, 'Whatever doesn't destroy you makes you stronger.'" She smiled and said, 'I know.'"

On Saturday, Spears stayed home all day until around 8:20 p.m. when she popped by the Beverly Hills Hotel for 15 minutes. She then dined at Taverna Tony's, a Greek restaurant in Malibu, with a female companion.

Still no word on how Spears will celebrate Christmas.
