American Idol Top 24 contestant Robbie Carrico just can’t shake the Britney Spears connection.
Not only did the 26-year-old Melbourne, Florida, native date Spears when she was 17, but on last night’s Idol, he was told he looked like her ex, Justin Timberlake!
After he belted out the Three Dog Night tune “One,” Ryan Seacrest remarked, “He’s dressed like a rocker, but kind of looks like Justin Timberlake!”
Carrico may have a way’s to go before hitting it big.
Simon Cowell told Carrico: “I’m not quite sure yet whether you’re very comfortable in this rock thing or whether you’re a pop singer.”

Back off Peta. Like you know everything. Peta doesn't beleive if helping wild animals that have been orphaned in the wild. They think they should be left to die instead of people taking them in to raise & release. Peta has no compassion.

For the record...he DID NOT date Briney...his boy/girl band opened for Britney Spears back in the mid-90's...how do I know this you may ask?.....I was a roadie for his band :)

American Idol is just trying to help out his career, but he should have stayed out of the music sceen for good. He had his chance when he was in the boy band... he did get to tour and date Britney. Wasn't that enough? Even if he does win, does he have what it takes to make a highly marketable record? American Idol is starting to get lame anyway...
