Britney Spears Remains in Beverly Hills as Jamie Lynn Lays Low in Kentwood

There’s still no word on Jamie Lynn Spears’ whereabouts in Kentwood, Louisiana, but older sister Britney remains in Beverly Hills for now.

Spears, 26, spent the day with her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, at her Beverly Hills home. Kevin Federline’s bodyguard picked them up at around 7 p.m.

She canceled a scheduled 8 p.m. dance session at North Hollywood’s Millennium Studios that night. “There were too many paparazzi,” a source told Usmagazine.com.

Instead, she and an assistant hit a souvenir shop in Hollywood (where she scored a Tinkerbell top) and then went to burger joint Carl's Jr.

Aside from what E laid out as signs of drug use, the physical and the comments of the judge, Britney was entered into two different rehab facilities. You do not get placed into rehab without a problem. Cal. law.

I honestly think that Britney suffers from depression. she has had 2 babies on right after the other, she is now divorced and alone. The only people that she has are the leeches that want to be around her for her money. In my opinion she needs counseling, therapy, and family. I really don't think she is an addict. I went thru alot of this when I had my baby.. and it cost me my marriage becuase no one could understand why I did the things I did. Shopping sprees and strange behavior etc. I pray that she gets the help she needs before she has a complete meltdown and hurts herself or those children.

I am glad that Kevin stepped up and took those boys, that is what is best for them right now. and hopefully she will be able to care for them and Co-Parent them soon. I wish she could see that she needs help, but I don't think she is at that point yet. We all need to stop being so judgemental. We are not them. we don't live their lives and ALL of us live in glass houses.. therefore we should not throw stones.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family .. I hope that the get the help and support that they all need!

I think you're right but I think it's coupled with drug use (didn't the court call her a frequent and hibitual drug user? and hasn't she failed drug tests? What are your thoughts on why she might be going to a hotel everynight?

Britney should just hide out in a cave for the rest of her life. She is a useless, waste of space and her kids are better off with Kevin. I agree with who ever said she should just curl up and die.... she and the world would be better off.

12:18 I said the pic suggests it....i don't know... the greasy unwashed hair, the broken out skin, the shades during the day. (all suggesting her appearance is no longer a priority) That coupled with the fact that her children aren't also no longer a priority or else you would think that she would be doing her part per court orders. The constant nightly hotel stops (on this, I THINK, just my opinion now, that she's paranoid that her home could be bugged and knows that it is illegal for hotel rooms to be bugged, so this might be where her partying sessions might be taking place) All this, and from what I know about drug abuse, suggests to me that she IS probably self medicating.

OMG, I can't even BELIEVE how rude people are on here! To suggest that Britney should DIE because that would be best for her sons? That is so horrible I can't even believe someone would say that! Do you know these people and what possible demons they are fighting? I'm guessing no. And there was a comment saying Jamie Lynn has caused herself and her boyfriend devastation. Since when is a baby devastating? And since when is it only Jamie Lynn's fault? A baby is a miracle, first and foremost.
