The court's message to Britney Spears was simple: go to counseling, submit to drug tests, stay on the straight and narrow -- and you can keep custody of your sons. So why has Spears, 25, been defying the judge's orders since day one?
From drinking alcohol to driving without a license, in the latest issue, Us Weely charts the events that led to Spears losing custody of her sons on Monday.

A judge orders her to submit to drug tests and abstain from alcohol within 12 hours of receiving the kids.
September 18
Spears drinks and chain-smokes in West Hollywood till 1:45a.m., less than 12 hours before seeing her boys.
September 20
Son Jayden bawls as Mom takes him to L.A.’s notoriously photog-packed Robertson Boulevard.
September 21
Two misdemeanor counts are filed for an August hit-and-run and for driving without a California license.
September 24
Still lacking a state license, Spears drives with her kids in the backseat.
September 26
At night, she hits a recording studio and leaves with what looks like a margarita in a glass.

She drinks at Costa Mesa club Sutra Lounge past midnight, less than 12 hours prior to getting her kids.

Still with no state license, she drives her kids around Malibu, running out of gas on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Spears hands off the kids to a Federline guard, then applies for a license.

12:55 Anon, Kevin didn't have to fight for his other kids with Shar because Shar was a responsible parent. She didn't pull the BS tactics that Britney does time after time. Maybe money is a motive - it likely is - but there are definitely other non-financial reasons that Kevin has to fight for these kids.

Britney is RESPONSIBLE for her own mistakes, no one else, there are plenty of other famous child stars out there who have managed to have it all and not descend into insanity.
She needs to grow up and realize she is not the cute little pop princess she once was, she is supposed to be an adult and a mother, and I use that term lightly.

She needs intervention,the girl never had a chance to mature before she was treated like an adult!I think she is probably very sweet and was very vulnerable don't get me wrong I totally disagree to what she did to Shar Jackson as I admire her as a person! I think this is (and hope Brit sees it too) a last wake up call to her, she is a great artist, she can do anything she wants, so why she is doing all the wrong way? makes me wanna slap her sometimes, but in the end...I support her... why? cause she is a human beeing in the spot ligth 24/7, she makes mistakes (huge mistakes) like everybody and I really wish she realize there's lot of people in the world (like here Southamerica) that support her and wish her the best!

I think you have to be either really jealous or just a sick person to take joy in this. So she's a celebrity, she's also aloud to have issues. No one helps her and she obviously doesn't trust people and I don't blame her.I personally think she's sick. Whether it's post pardom or bi polar. She definately needs help. Kevin doesn't have her best interest at heart or he wouldn't have married her for her money or left her alone through most of her two pregnancies.I do think she should have let him stay with Shar Jackson because that is more drama than she can obviously handle but that is another story. People seem to forget that for nearly two years she never went anywhere. Sure, she has gone way too far. But her family should be pushing more.I also think that her parents are just trying to figure out which way the wind blows, if Kevin gets more money they will be up his bleep for sure. I do think that she used drugs but I don think that rehab was necessary. I think her drug use stems from her mental issues and from the company she kept (i.e. Kevin Federline) and that should have been dealt with first. Not to mention all of you don't help. Britney has never gotten a break. Since she was 16 all I have heard is, "She's a slut, a bleep, a tramp. Even when she said she would like to wait till she was married to lose her virginity, when she didn't, you called her a liar as if she owed it to all of you to stay a virgin. You've done nothing but negate everything she has ever done even when she didn't harm anyone or herself. What makes you think that your persacution won't fall on deaf ears. Or do you people do it to boost up your own self esteem. She has the oppurtunity to get back on her feet. It may be a long road or a short one but I wish her all of the support, she needs a fan not a hater or a bully. (At work and am extremely board.)

It is so sad when a mother lacks the ability or desire to take care of her own. It is obvious that Britney never should have reproduced. Her boys are adorable and deserve better. If Kevin can give that to them with the stability of a nanny, and they can experience some semblance of family life visiting with Kevin's ex Shar Jackson and her children, then maybe that is the best thing. From the crying episodes, these babies seem to desperately want peace and quiet in their lives and some structure. It breaks my heart, especially that picture, of Sean reaching over in the car seat and comforting Jayden. Please take them away and keep her away from them, unless during supervised visitation.
