Britney Spears has been getting a makeover team in place to prepare for her May shows at the House of Blues.
The 25-year-old pop singer has enlisted Rick Henry, of L.A.’s Suburbia Salon & Spa, to oversee her post-shave styling and wig selection.
“She’s tired of wearing wigs every day,” a source says of Spears, whose real locks are now about an inch long and brown after her February buzz cut. “She wishes her hair would grow faster.”
To make sure she’s ready for all of those rigorous dance numbers, she turned to trainer Manny Bujold at Malibu Gym.
The pro, 27, has helped whittle her waist with four-days-a-week kickboxing, treadmill and resistance-band sweat sessions.
“It’s no-nonsense when she’s working,” he says of the star, who managed to squeeze into the size-0 gown she tried on at L.A.’s Sweetpeas & Snapshots on April 27. “She comes ready to push herself.”
He adds: Spears “busts her ass.”
One person she forgot? The oh-so-necessary stylist! Case in point, Spears put together her own outfit on April 21 in L.A. and left little to the imagination while heading to a dance class at Millennium Dance Complex on April 28.
“She is not using anyone right now,” says her latest stylist, Britt Bardo.

There is no way britney spears is even close to a size 0. I wear a size 2 (never 0) and i weigh 105 pounds and am very skinny. I'd say Britney, is at the MINIMUM, a size 6...maybe even 8. Vanity sizing is getting out of control. Also, if by "squeezed" they mean lubed up and thrown into the dress by a WWF wrestler then anything is possible.
I am 5ft 6 inches tall,i have a 24 inch waist,i am 14 years old.I am a uk size 6/8,and american size 4.Is that a good or bad thing?
Hey Emily, if you have a 24 inch waist you are definitely skinny!
A UK-6/8 is roughly the same measurements as a US-0/2. So this is 31.5-32.5 bust, 24-25 waist, 33.5-35 hips. I know because I've checked lots of size charts to compare the measurements and I have friends in the US who wear a size 0, but whenever they order from the UK they need a size 6.
oh yer ps. what is up with american sizing..? english 4 is a 0, so 2 must be 6, 4 must be 8..but then u have like 5s and stuff :S!
i have a 24 inch waist. im not size zero..im uk size 8 sometimes 6. i have a fat waist tbh.. 24 inch waist isnt even slim.
Actually if you want to know standard sizing, then a size 0 is a 23-24 inch waist, a size 2 is a 24-25 inch waist and a size 4 is a 25-26 inch waist. This is if you check the majority of sizing charts for various online stores.
But with vanity sizing, who knows.
Wow...what's all the hub-bub about size 0, size, 2??? More men like curves and a little meat than a skeleton who you can count the vertebrae in there back when they lean forward. Brit is more like a 7 right now, remember she has some curves. Those who are a 0,2,4 typically do not have curves...but look great in a thong bikini. 0,2,4,7,9,10,12,14,22...as long as a woman is happy with her body...that's all that matters in my opinion. Take it from a 5'2 size 10, having a little meat is favored by quite a few men.
Wow would you people listen to yourselves?? How can you stand it? This entire forum is full of the some of the worst comments I've ever heard that don't just come straight out and say "OMG! She is so FAT!!" Get over yourselves! If you are a size 0 or a 2 you are way too skinny and look gross. I would love to have Britney's figure, she looks smokin hot. She looks like a woman, not a pole, which seems to be what all stupid cows are trying to be.
she needs a styling rushhhh!!!!!
I am not the one who treats this like a chat room. It is a celeb blog. I only wanted to point out that that comment about wow was not me.
LOL...I guess you are the victim of trolls this evening, jennifer . :-) I am out, everyone have a good night.
Hey Jennifer, Zoe and witchey - you want to chat amongst yourselves, go into a chat room. We don't want to read your crap and your inner bickerings. You all sound like a bunch of beatches.
actually wow that comment was not me. By the way did anyone see where monique went? Just a thought.
Jennifer, I was addressing zoe and witchy. I am not a file clerk but you just have fun with that and don't forget to get your diaper changed while your at it...take a trip to the other side and get out of here, my dear.
wow???
You are a file clerk.
Nice job.
LOL
hey witchy, hey zoe. I had some files to do. back to finish out the day here LOL
Anon 2:41 - I have a 23-inch waist and wear a size 2-4 (although 4 is too loose). Mind you, I mostly buy clothes that have "classic" (read: old fashioned) designs, so that could be what is making the difference. In the 1950's, someone with a 24-inch waist would wear a size 10, I heard! With new vanity sizing, size numbers are becoming smaller and smaller, while the actual clothes are getting larger and larger. (I guess that would explain why nothing fits me well in the ultra trendy, "new fashioned" clothing stores! Even xxxs can be too large.) Also, Canadian sizing is done differently than American sizing; we Canucks follow the Brits. I should have been more specific and said that with Canadian-made clothes, a standard size 2 fits a 23-inch waist, 24 inches for a size 4. Sorry about the confusion! (By the way, have you ever tried shopping in the Gap? If you normally wear a size 2, you would need to wear a size 00 from the Gap, if it exists there, because everything is sized so large in that store!)
Yea, the NO STYLIST thing is very obvious!!!
as if you all have not noticed, E is fixated on me.... creepy
E, you are the ultimate idiot.
I wear a size 0, Brit is definately NOT a size 0. Maybe a 2 but, not a 0
Brainiac where are you shopping!? Size 0 is a 24-25 inch waist. I know I wear it. 23 does not exist. That would be 00 which is very hard to find. I agree though Brit is not a zero. She's built too athletically for that. She's probably a 2 or 4. Which would be 26-27 inch waist. Which is still very small!
OKAY in the second pic she's going to dance class. real dancers don't obsess about the outfits they wear to class. they just throw something on. (usually it's cut off sweats or bike shorts and a sports bra). you're not there to look good, you're there to work in as comfortable attire as possible to move in. hence why her outfit isn't HOT.
Hey wow,
yup, back from lunch and admiring the troll-work on the Vanessapage, it sure is amazing, dontcha think?
They seem to get such a kick out of thinking we're all 1 (!!!!!) person, I'm just in awe of how we accomplish that :) WOW!
who cares she sucks
11:59 AM witchy! Says:
pop or corn, you are an idiot... i have people to whom i chat idiot..... troll yah right....
---------------------------------------------------------
I'm watching....just seeing who loses the credibility of their statements for even interacting with you....have you sought help yet? Always rooting for your mental recovery though ;) I hear there's been some fine advancements in Bi Polar treatment as of late ,..well good luck kid ;)
One more thing......Britney's never been stick-thin. Excpet for the past couple of years, she's had a good figure, but not bony. I don't know why this article is trying to exaggurate the amount of weight whe lost. The fact that she's gone back to her pre-K-Fed weight is good enough.
Like a lot of previous posters, I agree that there is no way she could be a size zero. Although with vanity sizing, anything's possible - I don't know how L.A.’s Sweetpeas & Snapshots sizes their clothes. I am much thinner than she is, and I'm a size 2-4. She looks good, and I'm not saying she should strive for a 0. But I think she is at least a size 6, maybe even 8 (her waist is pretty thick). To wear a standard size 2, you need to have a 23-inch waist, 24 inches for a standard size 4.
zoe? Witchy? still here?
