Before checking in to Promises rehab center in Malibu for the second time, Britney Spears enjoyed a strange, bewildered day with two new friends.

Bright and early on February 17, a newly bald Spears arrived at L.A.'s chic Mondrian hotel, ready to catch some rays. But the star was denied a room due to lack of credit cards or cash.

By 11 a.m., an undeterred Spears, 25, had stripped down to a bra and panties poolside, then shaved her legs in the pool bathroom.

“It was sad,” says a source. “It looked like she really needed a friend.”

She got two – at least for a few hours. Around noon, Spears (then in a blonde wig) began chatting up a woman in the bathroom, who offered to loan the pop star a bathing suit.

Spears followed her new friend to her hotel room where -- after changing into a borrowed bikini -- she raided the minibar.

“She grabbed four or five bottles and just started mixing everything and drinking them.”

Can anyone tell me why the general public and media find pleasure in reporting a super star like Britney Spears personal life struggles? I know the girl has made millions of dollars and other people are jealous and want to profit from it! Why do people buy what garbage the media puts out there? People must be very bored in their own personal lives to feel good or make rude comments about Britney's life. My suggestion to the those people are to get a hobby and worry about their own life!

I hope and pray God sends people in Britney's life that want the best for her and don't want to use her or her fame. It must be hard in the LIMELIGHT of Hollywood to find TRUE friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must admit that at this stage in the process, I truly feel empathy for Britney as she needs to really begin to put things into proper perspective. However, as the infamous saying goes...."What goes around, comes around! "What you reap is what you sow!" KARMA will come back to bite you in the behind....it's inevitable!

As a final point, gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding of your own life learned experiences and exemplify from that perspective! After all life is about choices and through those choices come actions and through your actions are consequences that will result in causes and effects.

Live according to standards, values and principles in a receptive, moral and functional manner!

More importantly, whether people believe there is a God or not but you should pray, repent your sins, ask for forgiveness and seek guidance according to his will and purpose for your life!

I have a real issue with the women who would capitalize off this. But then again, some people are just like that. Britney has got to watch the company she keeps. Especially right now.

I do feel sorry for her.
She appears to be just buckling under the pressure doing unwise things. Of course I don't know her but...just my thoughts. I don't too much fault her for going ballistic with the media, either. Parasites!

Y'know, I'd take the money anyday---but 'F' the fame.
Give me the money--you can keep the rest. Too much negativity comes with it and I don't see how it's even worth it. The bigger you are the more lies are concocted, the more people who conspire to capitalize off of you, the more people work to bring you down.
Doesn't even seem to matter if you're not an attention-seeker--the media will find YOU. They will make up things to talk about.

Although some stars manage to stay out of the eye of the media. Or at least....the media is not AS scathing in their depiction of those stars.
When the dust settles Britney should seek these stars out--and take notes.

I couldn't be in her shoes because I would probably stay bound in litigation behind attacking the paparazzi.
The thing i don't get is, she's running around talking about she's in the studio with Timbaland trying to cut another album?
Baby, slow your roll. The public ain't going nowhere! In the meantime you need to get better. You have children to take care of.

That girl needs to stay in rehab, then go on a looooooong vacation overseas or to some other nice secluded spot. Get a few 'heavies' to control/jack up any overly inquisitive photogs and just RELAX.

She needs to be well so that she can take care of her children.

Anyway...@PRINCESS...You grow up! I never made the initial comments but Anna Nicole had 'been around'. Come one....
Some might call that 'slutty' but hey--what's wrong with people who notice the obvious? She had issues as Brit has issues but in addition to Anna's issues she was also a 'loose' woman.
Just because she was your favorite entertainer doesn't dispel that fact.
Just because she's dead doesn't make it any less true (just makes it somewhat improper to discuss--but I will anyway since it's been brought up).

Hell...no one even knows who that baby's father is.
Maybe they should let Maury Povitch sort it out...
