FACEBOOKI don't think anyone on this page know's really how Britney is with her kids. Everytime she does something involving her kids people point out all the wrong things shes doing. It's sad that the world has to jump on her for every little detail that taploids put out. I don't think she should have had her kids taken away. Its funny how know one is reporting that she been passing all of her drug test. I still don't understand how the people saying the mean, hurtful and cruel things about her can feel better about themselves. People don't have to like Britneys music but to attack her for every little move she makes is inhumane.

Britney Spears’ controversy-crammed life may have weakened her public image, but it hasn’t necessarily hurt her career.
Blackout sold an estimated 124,000 albums the first day of its release Tuesday and is set to become Spears’ fifth consecutive number one album, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.
The album is expected to bump Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride and take the number one slot on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Billboard.
Her label, Jive/Zomba, estimates Blackout will sell between 330,000-350,000 copies next week.
But it appears Spears, 25, has yet to recapture the success from earlier in her career: Her last disc, 2003’s In the Zone, sold 609,000 in its first week.
Spears may not mind: In an interview Tuesday, with Ryan Seacrest, she said she thought her new album was “cool” and her favorite track was “Heaven and Earth ... it is a really cool track.”

As soon as I saw her Gimme More video im like OMG are you serious she could of done a better job on that but other than that I listened to her record and as I was listening to some of her songs (first time) im like what the hell kind of songs are these but once I listened to them more I def got ADDICTED!! Eagles have tour & album promotions, no negative publicity & all. While BRITNEY has no promotions on her album, shameful vma performance plus she has a lot of negative publicity these days. Piece of Me, Blackout will be Twitney's FIFTH overall #1 album and not consecutive b*tch. Her streak of consecutive #1 albums ended with In the Zone as her 2004 greatest hits album stalled at #4 and her 2005 remix album stalled at #149. Jive (a R&B label pretty much) did buy alot of the CDs to inflate sales when most people downloaded the music then throw it away just to hear the trainwreck she has become. Also, The Eagles are not a bad band. They combined country rock and then 360'd to rock and roll as country rock ran its course. Pink Floyd were not simple after Syd left. Floyd were not power chord rock, that was punk. MCET, The Eagles were not strong sellers until 1975's One of These Nights album (their fourth). Pink Floyd didn't break big until Dark Side of the Moon (their ninth album). Queen waited until A Night at the Opera to break open. Rush had to wait until 1981's Moving Pictures before they sold records.

Actually, she's a stripper. She doesn't make music. Other people make music and then put her likeness on the cover to sell it to people who like bad music. As was pointed out in the Salon.com review, the new hot sh!t producers basically use their one or two cuts on her records as advertisements for their abilities, and parlay that into work with other artists. Britney is a PG-rated stripper.

I don't like this girl AT ALL and I think it's sad that she puts her career before her own kids (what's even more sad is that her twit fans support that kind of behavior); however, good for her getting a #1. Maybe now she can keep her a$$ in the house and focus on this custody battle and quit trying to drum up publicity for her record with her stupid behavior. - Britney makes music. It's her job. If you don't like it, don't bother verbally attacking her. It's not worth anyone's time. Music is love. Love ppl... ;)
- She's apparently going through a tough time right now. We all make mistakes. I doubt anyone here commenting can REALLY comprehend the complexity of her celebrity life. Let her do her job. Don't act like you've figured out her "media character"...
- Her new album actually WILL be her 5th consecutive #1 album. The Greatest Hits and the Remixes are not considered studio releases. Research you guys. That is a great accomplishment. Give credit when due.
- And Jive did NOT buy 100,000 copies. What kind of f*cked of conspiracy is that! ha.... Her album is #1 on iTunes in 14 countries in only a few days AND the first press release of the Japanese Edition is completely SOLD OUT!
Please just let her fans enjoy this. I wish her the best.

On the brite side, new album "Blackout" really rocks all the way....awesome beats. The rave reviews she has gotten from Rolling Stone, AP, CNN, and USA Today are definitely deserved. I found her on a celebrity and millionaire dating site named millmatch.com or something. Her blogs said she is optimistic this time.
