Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel to Avoid MTV Face-Off

 Jamie McCarthy/WireImage.com; Tony Barson/WireImage.com The MTV Movie Awards aren’t until June 3, but organizers are already scrambling to defuse potential drama between Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel, who will reunite at the live awards show for the first time since their Golden Globe showdown last winter. As Us Weekly reported in January, Diaz launched into a jealous rage at a post-Golden Globes bash at LA’s Sunset Towers after seeing her ex, Justin Timberlake, and Biel flirting at the party (Diaz and Timberlake, 26, had announced their "amicable" split just five days earlier). “All of a sudden she just lost it,” a witness to the tantrum told Us at the time. “She came up and started yelling at Jessica.” A source tells the New York Post’s Page Six, "Everyone is determined to keep Cam and Jess far apart.” And the drama isn’t just confined to the awards show – it’s spilling over onto the red carpet as well. "It's becoming a big deal because the girls both want very separate arrival times," a source tells Page Six. According to the New York Post, the biggest stars are usually the last to walk the carpet - a position both stars are fighting to snag. Diaz, 34, who is accustomed to being at the top of the A-list, wants to avoid the "humiliation" of having an earlier arrival time than Biel, 25, at the MTV event. "Cam is used to being more high-profile than Jessica," said the source. "But now that Jessica's dating Justin, she has more leverage. Cameron's looking a little unstable lately." Another headache? Whether or not to bring a date on the big night. “Nobody knows who Cameron is going to bring, if anyone. But if Jessica walks with Justin, Cameron will want to bring a date. If Jessica goes alone, Cam will probably walk alone. It's a mess." Insiders tell Page Six that Diaz and Biel are both presenting awards at the ceremony, while Timberlake is nominated for best breakthrough performance for his role in Alpha Dog. The ceremony is also being carefully orchestrated to avoid a backstage run-in because Diaz was nominated in the best-kiss category for her lip lock with Jude Law in The Holiday. You know this story doesn't really come as that big of a surprise considering the hissy fit Cam threw when JT was TALKING to jessica. I like her as an actress (at times) but I have always thoguht that Cam was very immature and needs a lot of growing up to do. Jessica however, seems to have an excellent head on her shoulders and never has any bad press. Cam throws way to many tantrums. And um, since when was she A-list???? She only go that status by dating JT, not on her own, for sure!!

not sure what's supposedly so much better about Jessica, in Timberlake's view, that he had to trade them in??..as far as i can see..they're about the same in the looks department..both of them do have very manly qualities about them personality-wise (Jessica just seems freaky alltogether & very much like a dude, Cameron may be a little softer, but she's a tomboy too)..so, what's the deal glockenspiel? maybe he brings out other qualities in them that we don't see? .. either way, i don't think Timberlake is attractive whatsoever..

Don't think Cam is very pretty - she was when she first came on the scene - but she always seems to have a blotchy red face and big mouth. I would love the real story on why Justin and Cam broke up. Jessica is ok. Cam is pretty, but kind of resembles a joker smile, although, I would like to see Cam and Justin back together. They were in a relationship for a very long time, and then ended it. Justin was seen with Jessica 5 days later, if that was my case, Id be upset too !
