Who really ever knows the truth in anyones marriage or relationship. But I find it interesting how the public has become so defensive and so suspicious. Sure I was suspicious of the whole thing after all, he couldn't get first wife pregnant, second wife pregnant how is it that she is pregnant by him, was there some medical procedure done on him? I mean it is only logical that peole question this. On the other hand why is it our business anyway. How would we like it when people would become so invasive in our lives. Why are we so uncomfortable at seeing someone jump on the couch in joy, is it because we are so suspicious of this kind of excitement, that its all staged and over the top? Is it because we have maybe never felt it to that degree or were courageous enough to express it. We should question why we react the way we do before we open our mouths.

Sabrina - You've never heard Tom mention Connor or Isabel? Then I suppose you didn't watch the interview with Diane Sawyer that played a couple days before Suri was born. Diane asked Tom what he wanted to say when the baby was born, and Tom said he would want to tell the baby that they would have a lot of fun together - then he went on to say "I remember telling Connor and Isabel that". I think it's rather harsh to accuse someone of talking "too much" about their newborn child. I've seen the same thing - sometimes every more so - in plenty of other "non-actor" people. I've seen people record and talk about every little thing - from how often the baby cooed to how long it slept. Happiness and excitement in new life you helped create is, to me, a very natural emotion.

Susan - I too walked into a mission to learn more. The things that impressed me most were 1) they are tolerant of all religions - it's actually a precept in the "Way to Happiness" 2) They are not pushy AT ALL - but rather interested in you and helping you improve your life 3) They don't make you feel that you have sinned by being in existence - rather they believe that man is basically GOOD and has "lost his path" somehow along the way 4) Your movement to better spiritual being is at your own pace and your own determination - no one can MAKE you better, you do it yourself. I love the last one a lot because I've always believed that I'm responsible for my own condition in life and only I can bring about a change in it. I've enrolled in a course and am amazed at how many things are true FOR ME - and it's so fun. Everyone is SO friendly, so helpful and so....well, happy.

Caryn - you have a lot of integrity and I admire that. Your religious beliefs are obviously very true to you, and it's wonderful that you are dedicated to them. I'm glad that you went and observed for yourself - I think you are a wonderful person for doing that, instead of just listening to what other people say.

First of all, let me just say that I too was curious about scientology and what it was all about. I visited the center and spoke with scientologists several times. I still stand behind my opinion about it being a cult. I have respect for all people and whatever they believe is fine with me. I do not consider scientology a religion by any means but I am not going to judge anyone else who chooses to follow it. I am a christian. I believe in God but I am also open minded enough to find out about something before I decide how I feel about it. Suffice it to say that what I learned did not impress me one bit. It only confirmed what I had previously suspected. However, I was determined to find out for myself and not listen to media and other outside speculation. This is simply my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

Well, I can tell you that I have studied it and I have also gone to the Scientology center and talked with them several times and I still stand behind my belief that I think it's nothing more than a cult. Plain and simple. This opinion is coming not out of ignorance; but of actually experiencing it and seeing it first hand. I am not going to judge anybody who believes in it or who wants to follow it. I have respect for everybody and whatever they believe is fine with me. I am a christian, I believe in one God and God alone. I don't believe in what Scientology teaches. I was the same way as you are. I wanted to see it for myself instead of just forming an opinion based on what other people and the media say about it. I don't believe it's a religion and I will never consider it one but to each his own. This is just one opinion. Do with it what you wish.

tom cant possibly think he can change any laws. he seriously needs help. may be a psycho-therapist would help, or getting out of that scientology "religion".

Have you heard Tom Cruise lately in his press interviews. All he talks about is Suri. I know he just had a kid and all, but the way he talks it seems like that's the only kid he has. I've never heard him mention Isabella or Connor in his interviews.

I do not believe that anyone should have the right to purchase medical equipment if they don't have a license to practice medicine. It is dangerous for people to take medical matters into their own hands. And I don't believe that just because someone has lots of money that it should qualify them for the purchase either.
