I don't think Casey should go to jail. They were in love so what she got pregnant. People should worried about these kids how are getting rape and having babies at 13 and 14 years old and the father is 19. So he was only 3 years older than Jamie. JUST GIVE THEM A BREAK. They made a mistake. Like everybody in the world. Casey would be a good father. Just think of the baby if Casey goes to jail. Then Jamies going to tell the baby dads in jail because we had sex and I got pregnant with you and so now he is jail. Living with one parnet sucks because I don't live with any of my parnets. They are alot of girls out there that is having sex with a 18 years old, or older. Not just Jamie Lynn. I do think they should get MARRIED. Because they look like they love each other. Geez.. leave the poor girl alone.. she's 16, her family's getting a hell more attention than she would like, she's pregnant, her mom sold the story to some magazine for moolah, its a lot to handle for a 16 yr old. Fact is, hell a lot of 16 yr olds are out there having sex, a lot of times without protection, doesn't make sense to me why only the ones who got unlucky and got themselves pregnant get all the criticism and nasty comments.. Doesn't seem right does it?

Leave the poor girl alone! It's hard enough being young, but being young in the hollywood spotlight has to be 100 x harder. Everyone watching you just waiting for you to mess up or God forbid go out with out makeup. She messed up, she is going to pay for it. She'll be what 17 when the baby is born? If she's a good mother then play time is over. It is 2007 and if your daughter is sexually active put her on birth control. you would think(and believe me i know it isn't easy to be a mom and i have no clue what it would be like to be a mom of show-biz kids) but knowing how your 1 daughter has been nothing less of a train-wreck you would think you would be keeping a better eye on your minor child that technically you should have some say over. maybe she was too busy writing her "parenting" book or maybe she is more like lindsey lohan's mom and afraid of loosing her meal ticket? i don't know but 16 and pregnant is tragic and sad and yeah, babies are a gift and blah,blah,blah but whether you have money or not you still have a lot of growing up to do and a baby needs a parent who is ready to give their all to you. i think most of today's teenagers are smarter than to follow in jamielynn's footsteps.

Okay... I know that 16 and 19 is young to be having a child, but they would most likely have a baby when they got older so they probably figured that even though it didn't work out the way that they would've liked it to.. it would happen either way... the pregnancy i mean so i can't understand why this guy's uncle is walking around, running his mouth and saying the baby is a mistake... the baby probably was a mistake but honestly when the child grows up and reads about all this it'd be very upseting for it to hear that its dad's uncle was saying all this trash. i think jaime and casey look cute together and i wish them the best. i think they'll be fine. I'm happy for Jamie Lynn and Casey. A child is a wonderful gift from God; a blessing in disguise. God obviously intended for this child to be brought into this world. I don't feel one bit that they "messed up". Being a young mother myself, I can honestly say that it's a challenge, but nothing that they couldn't handle. I feel that everyone should just keep their negative comments about the whole situation to themselves. No matter what anyone says, the two of them have already made up their minds-they're keeping the baby. It's no one's business but theirs. Jamie Lynn may only be 16, but she obviously is no fool. She is a mature, young adult who has successfully built a career for herself. I am positive she will be a wonderful mother rather it be at 16 or 30. I think this thing is being blown way out of porportions. Yes she is 16 and pregnant but guess what everyone makes mistakes. The only reason she is being crucifed is because her sister is Briney. A while back there was the girl from the movie Whale Rider and she got pregnant at the age of 14 or somethink like that. and there wasn't the outrage or any of this media attention that Jaime Lynn is getting. Leave the poor girl alone. She is most likely stressed enough without all this. I feel sorry for her and the babies daddy.
