Eddie Cibrian

Eddie Cibrian was born in June 1973, and grew up as the only child of Cuban parents Carlos and Hortensia.

Cibrian was raised in California and attended UCLA where he majored in business and economics. The actor has starred in The Young and The Restless, Sunset Beach, and rose to fame on Third Watch as womanizing firefighter Jimmy Doherty.

Cibrian married longtime girlfriend Brandi Glanville in 2001, and has two children with her: Mason and Jake. In July 2009, Cibrian was reported to be having an affair with LeAnn Rimes while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall.

Despite months of denying their relationship, Cibrian and Rimes — both still married at the time of their romance — have since gone public with their relationship, taking a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Cibrian filed for divorce from Glanville in August 2009.

In December 2010, Cibrian and Rimes announced their engagement; they wed four months later.
