Born in 1982 in Australia, Abbie Cornish is an AFI-award winning actress.

Well-known for several Australian films and television roles, including parts in Life Support and her award-winning lead performance in 2004's Somersault, Cornish has quickly become an American sensation. The actress has starred in hit films including Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Stop-Loss.

She is currently dating her Stop-Loss costar Ryan Phillippe. The pair reportedly began dating while Phillippe was still married to actress Reese Witherspoon.
