Alec Baldwin
The eldest of the Long Island-native Baldwin brothers, Alec Baldwin had aspirations to attend law school until he made good on a dare to audition for NYU’s undergraduate drama program.
Since getting his start in 1980 on the NBC sitcom The Doctors, Baldwin has starred in a number of hit films, TV shows, and Broadway plays. He is best known for his leading role on NBC’s 30 Rock, a part that earned him a slew of nominations and awards, including a 2009 Best Actor Golden Globe.
His fame has been substantially magnified by his antics off the set, including, most notably, his high-profile divorce with Kim Basinger and a heated phone message he left for his then 11-year-old daughter, Ireland. Baldwin is also well known for his liberal political beliefs, which earned him a biting parody in Team America: World Police.
In June 2012, Baldwin married yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin in New York City. They share seven children together: Carmen, born in 2013, Rafael, born in 2015, Leonardo, born in 2016, Romeo, born in 2018, Eduardo, born in 2020, Lucia, born in 2021, and Ilaria, born in 2022.
While filming Rust in New Mexico in 2021, Baldwin fired a prop gun that injured the movie’s director Joel Souza and killed director of photography Halyna Hutchins. News broke in January 2023 that the actor would be charged on two counts of involuntary manslaughter, and in January 2024, he was indicted by a grand jury.
