Alexander Ludwig

Alexander Ludwig was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1992. Growing up, he had to convince his actress mother to allow him to get into show business. He attended the University of Southern California as a theatre major.

As an adorable young blonde, the child actor was originally cast in movies such as Air Bud World Pup (2000) and The Sandlot: Heading Home (2007). His first leading role was in The Seeker: The Dark is Rising, when he was just 15. 

Perhaps his most noteworthy role to date is in the movie adaptation of the acclaimed novel, The Hunger Games, where the young actor played Cato. In 2013, Ludwig starred in the film Lone Survivor as US Navy SEAL Shane Patton. 

Ludwig also appeared in The Band Perry’s music video for “Gentle on My Mind.”
