Amanda Peet
BIO
Amanda Peet starred in the recently cancelled NBC comedy-drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip alongside Matthew Perry.
Born in New York in 1972, Peet graduated from Columbia University with a history degree before delving into acting.
After getting her start off-Broadway and on One Live to Live, Peet guest-starred on a handful of television shows, including Seinfeld, and starred in the short-lived WB series Jack & Jill. Peet has had steady film work, including appearances in She's the One, Saving Silverman, and Something's Gotta Give.
The actress married screenwriter David Benioff in September 2006 and gave birth to her daughter, Frances Pen, in February 2007. Peet's second daughter, Molly, was born in April 2010.
