Ana Ortiz
Now known for her role in ABC’s Ugly Betty, Ana Ortiz once dreamed of becoming a ballerina and studied ballet for eight years before switching to acting and singing.
Ortiz spent her early years on stage, debuting in a regional theater production of “Dangerous Liasons” and later appearing off-Broadway in “In Arabia, We’d All Be Kings.”
On the small screen, Ortiz has resumed roles many television series such as Boston Legal, ER and The New Adventures of Old Christine. She joined the cast of Ugly Betty in 2006, earning her the ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2007.
That same year, Ortiz married musician Noah Lebenzon in Puerto Rico. Ortiz gave birth to their first child, daughter Paloma Louise, in June 2009. Their second child, Rafael, was born in September 2011.
