Barry Zito, born May 13, 1978, in Las Vegas, Nev., is a left-handed starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants. Zito is mostly known for his eccentric behaviors on and off the field, from practicing yoga techniques in the outfield, to carrying silk pillows and teddy bears on the tour buses as good luck.

His uncle is Patrick Duffy, and his father was a musical composer for Nat "King" Cole.
