Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood

Full Name: Carrie Underwood

Hometown: Checotah, OK

Relationship Status: Married to Mike Fisher

After taking the fourth season title on Fox’s American Idol in 2005, Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood shot to fame like only a select few of the Idol champs before her. Releasing her debut disc following her win in 2005, Underwood scored instant chart-topping success with catchy singles like “Some Hearts” and “Jesus Take the Wheel.” In November 2007, Underwood took home the American Music Award for Best Female Country Artist and Best Country Album. This rising star also earned a 2008 Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her popular girl power anthem "Before He Cheats."

Once linked to quarterback Tony Romo and Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford, the country siren has settled down with Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher, who popped the question with a 12-carat diamond just before the Christmas holiday in December 2009. The pair said "I Do" in a luxe country ceremony in Georgia in July 2010.
