Cory Monteith was best known for his role as Finn Hudson on Glee from 2009 to 2013. He met Lea Michele while filming the series, and the costars started dating in early 2012.

Before Glee, Monteith made his acting debut on Stargate Atlantis in 2004 and held roles on Smallville (2005) and Supernatural (2005). Monteith also starred in Final Destination 3 (2006), Monte Carlo (2011) and Sisters & Brothers (2011).

The actor struggled with drug abuse for years and entered rehab in 2001. He admitted himself again in March 2013 and completed treatment one month later. In July 2013, Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room at the age of 31 after a drug overdose.
