David Berrie Biography
The playlist: The DJ -- who is spinning this year’s US Weekly Most Stylish New Yorkers event at Avenue Sept 16 -- has a classic-cool, comfortable, downtown style. Vintage Isaac Hayes T-shirt, black RayBan Wayfarers and black low-top Converse All-Stars -- “75 years later, they’re still the coolest athletic shoe ever made,” he says.
Celeb styles: For a guy who mixes regularly with (and for) the stars -- he debuted then-unreleased tracks for pal Britney Spears at Tenjune in early 2007 -- Berrie, 23, is focused when it comes to finding celebs with style. He adores the sartorial sense of David Beckham (“he never looks like he’s trying and always looks cool”) and Chloe Sevigny (“fearless and confident”).
Party favor: “My favorite investment piece is a gray one-button, shawl-collared tuxedo from Hugo Boss. It wasn’t an investment piece, though,” he adds. “I got it for deejaying their holiday party.”
