The Beautiful City Life: The Beautiful Life costars live and breathe Manhattan fashion on their new show. “If there’s a word for New York style, it’s stealth," says the iconic Macpherson. "It’s clean lines, beautiful fabrics, beautifully cut. It’s not about bells and whistles.”
 
Wardrobe!: “Just walking through the wardrobe room is an experience,” says Paxton, who moved from L.A. for the show. “Balmain! Rodarte! I got to wear this amazing Calvin Klein dress that isn’t even on the runway yet. And our stylist Tom Broeker lets us wear some of the clothes to events.”
 
Fall wish lists: “I’m not really into disposable fashion," Macpherson says. "I prefer to buy a fantastic cashmere sweater than ten pairs of leggings I’m going to wear once.” As for Paxton? “These amazing leather jackets in Alexander Wang’s fall line."
