BIO
A native of Ontario, Canada, actress Emily VanCamp was born on May 12, 1986.
After training to become a ballerina at Montreal's L'Ecole Superieure de Danse de Quebec, VanCamp decided to give acting a shot. In 2000, she made her debut on the children's horror show Are You Afraid of the Dark? Two years later, she was cast in the WB drama Everwood; she played the part of Amy Abbott until 2006.
VanCamp soon found work again on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters. After the show's cancelation, the actress -- whose film roles include The Ring Two and Carriers -- snagged the lead role on the nighttime soap Revenge.
The blonde star's famous exes include Dave Annable, Chris Pratt and Joseph Morgan. As of January 2012, VanCamp has been dating her Revenge costar Josh Bowman.
