Emily VanCamp

A native of Ontario, Canada, actress Emily VanCamp was born on May 12, 1986.

After training to become a ballerina at Montreal’s L’Ecole Superieure de Danse de Quebec, VanCamp decided to give acting a shot. In 2000, she made her debut on the children’s horror show Are You Afraid of the Dark? Two years later, she was cast in the WB drama Everwood; she played the part of Amy Abbott until 2006.

VanCamp soon found work again on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters. After the show’s cancelation, the actress — whose film roles include The Ring Two and Carriers — snagged the lead role on the nighttime soap Revenge.

The Canada native joined the Marvel universe as Sharon Carter in several Captain America films. In 2018, VanCamp was cast in the role of Nic on The Resident, which she portrayed until her exit three years later.

The blonde star’s famous exes include Dave Annable, Chris Pratt and Joseph Morgan.

In 2012, VanCamp started dating her Revenge costar Josh Bowman. They got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot one year later.

In August 2021, the couple announced that they had welcomed their first child together.
