California-born Helen Hunt became a well-known and beloved television actress in the hit show Mad About You.

The Emmy Award-winner has also had a successful film career. In 1998, she won an Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of a waitress and single mother in the movie As Good as It Gets.

Hunt was married to actor Hank Azaria from 1999 until 2000. She has been in a relationship with producer/writer Matthew Carnahan since 2001 and together they have a daughter, Makena Lei Gordon Carnahan, born in 2004.
