As crook-turned-do-gooder Earl Hickey on NBC's My Name is Earl, Jason Lee heads an ensemble cast on the breakout sitcom.

Born in 1970 in Huntington Beach, Calif., Lee used his hobby of skateboarding to his advantage when he was bit by the acting bug in the early '90s; his skills landed him a first role that made him famous in Mallrats.

Nominated for a 2007 Best Actor Golden Globe, comedy vet Lee is finally earning the recognition he deserves for Earl, a series he also executive produces. Since the sitcom premiered in 2005, he has become a household name while sporting his character's trademark 'stache.

A practicing Scientogist, Lee was married to actress Carmen Llywelyn from 1995-2001. He has a son, Pilot Inspektor, with ex-fiancee Beth Riesgraf.

He's currently married to Ceren Alkac and the two have one daughter born in August 2008.
