BIO

Jason Lewis is most notably known as Jerry "Smith" Jerrod, the young love interest of the flirtatious Samantha Jones from the Sex and the City film and TV franchise.

The California native was born on June 25, 1971 in Newport Beach, Calif. After attending San Diego State University, frat boy Lewis jetted to Paris to begin his modeling career. By the late 90s, he landed jobs with Guess?, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss.

Prior to his SATC appearances that made him a household name, Lewis took on bit roles on shows including Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed. Lewis enjoyed a two-year guest arc on ABC's Brothers & Sisters from 2007-2009 as closeted soap opera actor Chad Barry. Lewis will reprise his role as Smith in the May 2010 sequel to Sex and the City: The Movie.

Lewis dated actress Rosario Dawson from 2005-2006.
