About

Jim Edmonds is a former Major League Baseball center fielder and a broadcaster for Fox Sports Midwest. After growing up in the eastern Los Angeles area, Edmonds was drafted by the California Angels in 1988 and later was assigned to a minor league team in Bend, Oregon, following a shoulder injury.

Shortly before the 2000 season, Edmonds advanced to the MLB. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds before announcing his retirement in February 2011.

The retired athlete was married twice before tying the knot with Meghan King Edmonds in October 2014. He shares two daughters with his first wife, Lee Ann Horton, who passed away in 2015. He also welcomed a son and daughter with second wife Allison Jayne Raski.

Us Weekly confirmed that Jim and Meghan had called it quits in October 2019 after the retired athlete was accused of having an affair. The estranged couple share three children: daughter Aspen (born in November 2016) and twin sons Hayes and Hart (born in June 2018). Jim has since moved on with Kortnie O’Connor, the same woman who Meghan claimed had a threesome with them while they were still married. They got engaged in July 2021.
