Kelly Rutherford
BIO
Kentucky native Rutherford, known to the teen set as Gossip Girl’s Lily van der Woodsen, rose to fame as part of the ensemble drama Melrose Place, starring as Megan Mancini from 1996-1999. Rutherford’s other notable appearances include roles on TV’s The District and Threat Matrix.
The actress currently stars as Blake Lively's mother on the CW series, Gossip Girl, and the network has been developing a spin-off centered around her character’s younger self.
Mom to son Hermes, born in 2006, Rutherford filed for divorce from her second husband, businessman Daniel Giersch, in January 2009. She gave birth to their second child, Helena, in June 2009.
