Actor Kris Polaha got his entertainment industry start on TV shows like North Shore and Miss Guided before settling into the role audiences know him for today, as Nate Bazile on the CW's Life Unexpected.

Born in Reno, Nevada, Polaha studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and was lauded in The New York Times for his role as John Brown in the play "Bread and Butter." Later, Polaha snagged a guest-starring gig on AMC's Mad Men as Carlton Hanson, a role he will reprise in coming episodes.

Married to actress Julianne Morris since 2003, Polaha lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
