Lisa Bonet was born in San Francisco in November 1967, and is best known for her role as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show.
She starred in the 1987 cult film Angel Heart along with Robert DeNiro and Mickey Rourke, which shattered her family friendly façade with her nearly X-rated blood soaked sex scene. She also appeared on Cosby's follow up show, A Different World as well as the 2006 reunion special. In 1998 she appeared with Will Smith in Enemy of the State, and in 2000 she appeared in High Fidelity. Her most recent appearance was in 2003's Biker Boyz.
In 1987, the actress eloped with Lenny Kravitz and the couple remained married for six years. She gave birth to a daughter, Zoe Isabella in 1988. She was formerly married to Nicholas Kay, but is now married to actor Jason Momoa. The couple have two children, Lola, born in 2007, and Nakoa-Wolf, born in 2009.
