Born in Texas on November 10, 1983, Miranda Lambert is a Grammy-winning country singer, who got her start in 2003 as a finalist on Nashville Star.
Growing up, Lambert's father both sang and wrote country music, inspiring her to enter talent contests at an early age.
Following Nashville Star, Lambert signed with Epic Records and released her first album, Kerosene, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country charts.
The album produced four Top 40 singles and Lambert has since toured with Keith Urban, George Strait and Toby Keith.
Her sophomore album, titled Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, won Album of the Year at the Country Music Awards in 2008.
Lambert began dating country singer Blake Shelton in 2006; they wed on May 14, 2011.
