About

Known as “Mr. Worldwide,” Miami native Pitbull has collaborated with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Usher and Enrique Iglesias, in addition to releasing six of his own albums since his 2004 debut disc M.I.A.M.I. Born Armando Christian Perez, Pitbull is best known for his hit singles “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” “Culo” and “Give Me Everything.”

Raised by first-generation Cuban immigrants, Pitbull spent time in a Georgia foster home following his parents’ split, and started rapping as a high school student after his mother kicked him out of their house for dealing drugs. Pitbull’s big break came in 2002 when Lil Jon tapped him to guest on his album Kings of Crunk.

In addition to his music, Pitbull is an established entrepreneur, having partnered with Voli vodka as a part owner and spokesman. He has also secured sponsorships with Kodak, Dr. Pepper and Bud Light. He also launched his own record label, Mr. 305 Records, under the Polo Grounds Music/J Records imprint.
