Born in 1974, this North Carolina musician is famous for combining his Southern roots with his rock edge.

Adams, also a talented music producer, got his big break in the music industry first as a vocalist with the release of his 2001 album titled Gold. The album earned Adams two Grammy nods in 2002.

His cover of Oasis' Wonderwall also earned him another nod in 2003 for "Best Solo Male Rock Performance."

Adams has dated Winona Ryder, Parker Posey, Lindsay Lohan and most recently Mandy Moore. In March 2009, Adams quietly wed girlfriend Mandy Moore.
