Shanna Moakler

A model turned actress and reality star, Shanna Moakler grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. After starting her entertainment career as a competitive roller skater, Moakler placed seventh in the Miss Teen USA pageant while representing her home state at age 17.

Three years later, she was named Miss New York USA and went on to become first runner up in the 1995 Miss USA Pageant. While her modeling work continued, Moakler began her television career, landing appearances on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Due South. She went on to grab a regular role on Pacific Blue and, in December 2001, she was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month. Throughout her career she’s also appeared on reality shows such as Punk’d, Meet the Barkers (which followed her life with ex-husband Travis Barker) and Hollywood Exes.

After dating Billy Idol, boxer Oscar De La Hoya (with whom she shares daughter Atiana, born 1999) and Dennis Quaid, Moakler married the Blink-182 drummer in October 2004. After divorcing in 2006, the pair reconciled before officially splitting in 2008. However, they continue to coparent their children Landon (born October 2003) and Alabama (born December 2005).
