California girl Sophia Bush debuted on-screen in the 2002 comedy Van Wilder. After studying journalism and theater at the University of Southern California, she left early after she was cast as bitchy Brooke Davis in the WB TV series One Tree Hill, arguably her biggest role to date.

Life imitated art for the actress in 2005 when she wed costar and on-screen love interest Chad Michael Murray. The couple divorced in 2006, and Bush was later linked to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and actor Jon Foster.
