Best known as the drummer of Mötley Crüe and Pam Anderson's on-again, off-again husband, Lee has turned life as a bad boy into an art form.
Lee cofounded the band Mötley Crüe with Crue bassist Nikki Sixx in January 1981, performing with the band for 17 years before entering into a six year hiatus. Lee married actress Heather Locklear in May 1986, but the couple divorced in August 1993.
It is his relationship with his second wife, Anderson, that earned Lee mainstream media headlines. The high-profile couple married only several days after meeting, and came under fire when a sex tape from their honeymoon was allegedly stolen – and made public - in 1995. The couple had two children - Brandon Thomas, born in June 1996 and Dylan Jagger, born in December 1997. Lee and Anderson divorced in 1998. Ten years after brief reconciliations, the high-profile pair’s relationship appears to be on the mend, as Lee told Rolling Stone in summer 2008 that he has moved back in with his former wife and sons.
