Makeup maven! Ariana Grande was named the newest spokesperson for Mac Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The “Problem” singer, 22, whom the beauty company pegs as both a good girl and a bad girl, will represent the brand’s new vampy plum matte lip shade and baby pink gloss, the proceeds of which will go to HIV and AIDS.
Known for her fierce cateye and futuristic music video looks with both sweetly innocent and sexy pin-up styles, Grande is the perfect add for Mac’s latest celeb collaboration, which has also tapped Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and RuPaul in the past.
It’s clear that the “Bang Bang” singer is excited about the new sponsorship. “I am beyond honored… to be working with a brand that stands for and always has stood for EQUALITY. My lipstick and gloss will be available in January and EVERY PENNY goes to people affected by HIV & AIDS,” Grande wrote in a post on Instagram. “I have loved and supported @maccosmetics ever since I was a little girl walking through the mall and saw your first #VIVAGLAM girl in the window — @rupaulofficial. I am so honored!”
