L’Oreal’s ladies in red!

In honor of the launch of the Pure Reds lipstick collection, the French beauty brand released stunning portraits featuring 10 of their beautiful spokeswomen, including Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana, Julianne Moore, and Eva Longoria.

The celebrity makeup models, all with their own unique skin tone, posed for a group shot to illustrate L’Oreal’s promise that there’s the perfect red shade for everyone. But the makeup pros also unveiled more intimate photos of the models in smaller clusters, too.

The first of these three features Lively, Saldana, and Jane Fonda posing primly, while Guess model Laetitia Casta is draped in front of Saldana’s lap.

In stark contrast to the crimson lipstick shades each of the ladies wore, these beauties, ranging in age from 27 to 76, wore crisp, white dresses (Lively also added Christian Louboutin pumps)—save for Fonda, who looked chic in an elegant pantsuit.

Julianne Moore - L'Oreal

The second of the three close-ups stars Moore, 53, arms crossed, with Liya Kebede perched on her shoulder. While Moore’s Pure Red is more of a strawberry, to complement her pale skin and scarlet locks, the Ethiopian model’s, 36, is closer to a raspberry, really popping against her deeper skin tone.

Freida Pinto, Longoria, model Natasha Poly, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan helped create the final shot, each lady modeling the one Pure Red shade in the 16-piece collection that her image inspired.

“Red is confident,” said Kebede in a press statement. “But it has to match perfectly with your mood as well as your complexion, to give you that timeless elegance.”

Added bonus: It’s a matte formula, so you can wear it anytime. “[The matte texture] is easy to wear and makes a bold and modern impact, perfect for day or night,” Longoria emphasized, who’s wine sits lovely against her olive skin.

If you’re blonde like Lively—or just a Preserve fan—L’Oreal Paris makeup artist Karim Rahman suggests a true ruby red. “With her timeless blonde [hair], Blake incarnates the ultimate chic,” Rahman shared. “Her shade is an intense and pure tone of red modernized by a matte texture—the red in its most iconic form.”

The entire Pure Reds collection will be available in drug stores and online spring 2015.
