Carrie Underwood just keeps looking better and! I love how she has grown into such a polished beauty. At Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, she looked effortlessly glam on the red carpet.

Her longtime steady hairstylist and makeup artist, Melissa Schleicher, tells Us Weekly: "For her red carpet arrival, we wanted her to be very 'Good Girl,' glamorous, feminine, but naturally dramatic with a bronze and brown smoky eye and a softly illuminated face." To create the look, Schleicher used a combination of bronzers and highlighters and a smoky eye palette by Too Faced Cosmetics.

For her sexy sideswept hairdo, the inspiration was her neckline. "For the red carpet, Carrie wore a gorgeous strapless dress, and I like to style her hair down whenever she wears strapless," Schleicher tells Us. For the look, she did a basic hot roller set for volume then added texture with a curling iron before parting on the side and pinning hair to cascade over one shoulder.
